You're blasting toward 2 mil! Well-deserved with all the work you've put into your phenomenal project. When will SANTAKU studio be releasing stickers? (also literally just noticing the interactive elements in the Santaku logo on santaku.dev - you think of everything)

Thank you! That means so much coming from the person who *checks notes* replicated a whole heckin OS on Neocities. Sorry I'm still recovering from my mind getting blown by that

Not a bad idea! I might add a "downloadable" patch/installer to add some Windows 2000 adjacent visual and audio components. Or maybe Windows 99 Plus! (that was requested).

Holy crap this is so involved. You even thought of someone jokingly going into CMD and typing del *.*!

Thanks! Your project is AMAZING! I could spend hours here hanging out with Clippy and counting down the hours to 2000.

have you heard of oracle's free vps tier? Derrick from that90s.site was telling me about it. 24gb ram, 4vcpu ARM cores, 10tb transfer - could be useful for testing or projects!

Hmmm... I shall check into this! Were you thinking of using this? It would be cool if I could pipe W99 into that Quake server somehow... but also just thinking about future endeavors as I try to move toward multiuser stuff eventually.

I signed up for one, it turns out they make 2FA necessary, so you need to either use their authenticator app (which has poor reviews) or use a FIDO Authenticator usb drive. I'm going the drive option because I think it might be a nice idea to have one, ordered one for $27.

So yea, thinking about using this! I want a bit more control over how I customize my chatrooms and what kinds of features I can implement, and I think this would be a great start to building my own and testing things out without screwing up the anything on the onio forum xD

Thank u for the follow! The chess and solitaire made me time travel.
Had a few people ask about an animated button. Feel free to use it-> https://win99.dev/win99ani.gif I thought about creating application specific buttons since there is an ability to add query strings for different applications (ex. https://win99.dev/?app=photoBooth). Not sure if thats worthwhile or not.
