Something seemingly small made me feel heavy today. I saw someone on here say something sexual to a minor (who had their age on their website) and when the person replied saying they are a minor the person didn't apologize. I think it hit me a bit because I felt like this place was cozy and safe. I've also been closely following the d4vd situation because I felt so sad for the victim, so I feel like I can't escape it

i ordered a book from a website years ago (i dont remember the name but it wasnt the ultra popular one that got shut down bc this was afterwards) and my book never came, it got lost in my country's post offices. The guys from the bookstore apologized a million times and gave me a full refund tho it wasn't their fault, and after that they wrote they won't work with my country anymore :DDDDD

update: added a new oddity :D I love it when I find these randomly. For example today I was watching Mandy (a comedy show starting the lady who plays Philomena Cunk) and learned something new.

Hey guys, before I upload longer essays, I want to ask, should I keep my essays page and just scream into the void like that, or should I get a substack or another platform built for posting stuff like that?

I've not used substack so I cannot speak to it's benefits, but there is something I like about neocities: Where the page, the code, the writing, is entirely yours. It has your personality, no algorithms (unless you code them in :)), and total design freedom. My two pennies.

honestly, i love your essays page over here a lot. substack may be good as a newsletter type of thing, but i'd personally prefer to read your stuff here on neocities instead

… Such impurities like this is the reason why I will never share my personal information about myself. Sharing your small personal information about yourself can be okay in some occasions, whether it’s for your family or friends… But this can also have limitations too. That’s why I am a bit strict about my Bass x Mega Man Web Shrine (As Mega Man is a minor too), it’s also the reason why I made my Password Diary Form.
