my dad taught me html when i was 8 and now look at my now. a fiend. when i first started on neocities around 2 years ago i felt like a total babydev because i barely remembered code. i imported stuff from github and then could barely figure it out. and now.... i made like, 10 minigames and a secret software wip. am i still a babydev? maybe. but im BUFF. im a buff baby i can dance like a man i can shake em up~ (song)

darn it i meant to press the "reply" button but i accidentally deleted the comment :0 .. linking css/js is useful for webpages with the same layouts - for example my backrooms game. theres 1000+ pages and it's easier to link the same css/js files than to copy/paste the codes 1000+ times. also makes updating the layout wayyyy easier. instead of editing 1000 html files, i just edit 1 css file or 1 js file

im kinda new to the more intense html stuff so i had my css/js on all of my webpages (home, about, etc) for the longest time lol. oh! another reason why its good. if you connect ur css/js to backend servers like cloudflare they can be ~secret code~ and then nobody can see or steal ur code. thats useful if ur developing software/games and dont want ur competitors to steal

when ur new to html like i am/was , having everything spread out on different files just makes editing a bit harder. i use onecompiler so when i edit i see the changes in real time and it can be a pain to import all the files to make it actually work. sometimes its easier to having everything on file so u can figure out what ur code does. so yea pros/cons. i tell babydevs to keep them together cuz thats what helpedme
