other day i listened to MM..FOOD by MF DOOM and NOCHES EN LA ISLA by kris floyd. both very good! regueton is not really my thing personally but i liked NOCHES EN LA ISLA regardless because it reminds me of hot nights sitting out on the porch, listening to the coquís, getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. MM..FOOD makes me feel like i’m at a cookout. it’s a fun summer album!

also been listening to a lot of really good music - ILLUMINATIONS by buffy sainte-marie; ICONOCLASTS and ALL THOUGHTS FLY by anna von hausswolff; CHEAP THRILLS by janis joplin; NOCHES EN LA ISLA, VOL. 2 by kris floyd; and MM..FOOD by MF DOOM. i would review music on my site but i don't know if i have the technical knowledge to really judge if something is good or bad. i just go off vibes. books on the other hand are

article you recommended about the MFA-ification of literature was really good! it's a topic i am supremely interested in. have you read "the oracular outsiders and the homework doers" on estragon? if not i must recommend it, very similar in subject matter but i appreciate how it goes into MFA literature's pretenses of inclusion and the way it uses these pretenses to shield its rampant exclusion
