hope u are doing well man-- re: job search. not remote, but have you ever looked into test proctor positions? they tend to like people coming from educational backgrounds. usually cities will have one or two locations. easy (albeit low paying) desk job

Probably not something I should admit, but I really don't want to work. Guess that's not too rare a feeling, but the intensity with which I feel it has increases a lot in the last few years.

I haven't thought of that. Will definitely look into it. I used to proctor SAT tests for extra cash when I worked at a bigger suburban high school.
