It's really bad. If a kid fails my class for the semester, they're placed on online credit recovery courses that they just AI their way through. Everyone knows. Our SPED teacher even told me she's happy they're at least doing something. Thing is, many of these kids have dozens of courses through these programs. They're graduating by having AI help them cheat their way through multiple choice exams.
god, this is depressing. everything i've heard from the teachers in my life is the same. who could blame a teacher for not wanting to put up with all that? best of luck as you figure out what to do next
"I wasn't supposed to use AI?'' NO????????

I'm so sorry that it's come to this. It breaks my heart to lose teachers. The future is not so bright when the system doesn't support people who care.

Thank you both for your kind words :)
