article you recommended about the MFA-ification of literature was really good! it's a topic i am supremely interested in. have you read "the oracular outsiders and the homework doers" on estragon? if not i must recommend it, very similar in subject matter but i appreciate how it goes into MFA literature's pretenses of inclusion and the way it uses these pretenses to shield its rampant exclusion

of different economic classes, levels of ability, occupations, etcetera, as well as those on the margins of society who in fact often have fascinating perspectives. i feel like one could potentially draw a connection between this and the concept of "outsider art," the name of which is often criticized for being needlessly stigmatizing... was gonna say more but forgot LOLOL
