sorry for briefly becoming a trigun fan website. i will be over it soon. probably. if i can refrain from writing up another deranged patho-sized document about it because i love it so much i dont even know what to do about it

just read your between two fires review because i finished it yesterday and your thoughts on it are exactly my thoughts... i'd heard so many good things about it and then it was entirely underwhelming + the note on the writing style definitely isn't just you, the paragraph breaks were annoying like there is only so many times you can pull that trick before it stops being interesting

@fairygore sweet vindication!! It’s such a shame because all the elements were right there to make this a good novel!!! augh

3/5 stars for that review seems incredibly benevolent for such a disappointment!

@katbots LMAO yeah look i can't fault the overall aesthetics and production quality of the show and it really was just entirely average tbh!! just a personal affront to me specifically

Heyy. How do you manage that you site scales as one entity and keeps its exact layout intact not matter how zoomed in or out it is? Every time I try to do that, zooming in an out also moves individual parts of my site around in ways they aren't supposed to.

@fishforfree hey! that's because the site has a fixed width using a wrapper div! whole site is set to 500px wide (or 800px for my main pages) so it won't scale at all :) super nice & easy guide here: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/css/wrapper-in-css/
This is *why* I started doing them, you end up taking notes/pictures to remember throughout the month, and it's super nice!
Agreed with katbots, but to me coming to understand what my brain thinks is important rather than just what happened, what my brain chooses to fixate on, is part of the purpose of journaling. Asking why it mattered, why I remember it better.
aaahhhh these are both such nice ways of framing it!! perhaps i will try my hand at it at the end of this month 🤔🤔
