love your gifs, I hope one day you review some my favorite games just so I can get some gifs from them hehe (not telling the games though, I don't want to interfere in your process)

Thank you I appreciate that! You have made so many buttons for the community I'd happily take some gif requests if I'm able!

Another core-memory game that I can tick off the list. Also the hardest game I've completed for this site, I kind of love it and I will never play it again..

There is something so specifically 'Euro computer game' about games with a character that is probably meant to look cute and instead just looks extremely off-putting, see also Nicky Boom. In terms of gameplay I get some Creatures 2: Torture Trouble (C64, unrelated to a-life Creatures) vibes, which is also a brutally hard single screen platformer with puzzle elements that was still hard even with infinite lives cheats

My latest hyperfixation is El Fish: A story of the most popular game in the world, the fall of the USSR, a murder-suicide, a conspiracy and a very good digital fish tank.

The fish need to be put on trial for their crimes against dinosaurs clearly. We have crime scene witnesses in New Zealand that could help, thanks to us having tuataras, the closest thing we have to surviving dinosaurs!

@Skep: Molyneux just admitted they were all high at Lionhead so I assume Maxis dropped acid as they came through the door in the mornings (I worked at Lionhead for a bit and I wasn't offered any).

@overclockworked I worked in wildlife for 10 years and never heard of tuataras, thank you they are superb dudes!
A first for NeoCities: an article talking about wolf sub/dom relationships that is not about furries! (furries and everyone are still welcome though). New review of Wolf, amazingly gorgeous and detailed 1994 animal simulation made in conjunction with a wolf sanctuary and featuring real wolves. I also made 96 gifs of it. I have a problem.
LARGE DOGS. I do love the concept of games based on simulating the life of an animal, ala SimAnt or Tokyo Jungle. It's a fascinating perspective on sides of the world that we don't otherwise experience first-hand. There's a lot of untapped potential there.

awesome review, the game looks very fun, I love this kind of graphics
@pirahxcx Thank you, fixed! Yes old 2D pixel art is so cosy.
@Overclockworked Well you have already reviewed the next best educational animal sim, Nanosaur!
awesome post and those gifs are a treasure!
