Does anyone have any beginner-friendly recommendations for learning different hand-sewing or embroidery techniques? I'm trying to learn, but the amount of information available online is daunting, and a lot of resources seem to assume the reader or viewer will have sewing machine access, which I do not. Any kind of source would be great!

Also, the amount of sewing advice websites using AI images is driving me insane.
For embroidery I learned through embroidery kits. They normally come with a pattern & explanation of all of the stitches you need to know.

Seconding the embroidery kits advice; they usually have very good and self-sufficient explanations on the different techniques used.
Also, do you guys have images anywhere of some of the work you've done? I'd love to see!
Try Annies, the publishes of Just Cross Stitch magazine, Gathered (they publish Love Embroidery and World of Cross Stitching), and Cross Stitcher Magazine. You might find other magazines that are around, but I don't get them on a regular basis. One of the best kits I've ever come across for silk shading is done by Blue Bird Embroidery (they do the fox which I have on my crafting site.) There are some good books from
David and Charles books.
