new field journal section! I found out I really like tropical spiders and insects. Next year I am planning to go to Costa Rica to find even more of them.

the trail map is too cool

many other updates in the last few weeks too. new pages: life clock, junk drawer, odds and ends. brought back the posts section and redesigned its layout. particularly proud of the life clock + odds and ends page!

i have also been digitizing and uploading my old handwritten book notes (this will take a while). and i updated the trail maps layout to accept segmented GPX files so I can annotate hikes with more granularity - you can see this in my latest hike around mt tam/john muir woods.
