finally installed wsl, turned out its just a one-liner! just default ubuntu, i literally dont know any other distro lol i dont see a lot of use for this just yet but its pretty nice

i mean for the Original(tm) class i planned to make a website for, my plan was to have all the other group members provide the content and i just focus on the website itself. not sure if i can get away with this in the other 2 classes

i use lmms. its free and open source, there are probably better options though. fl studio has a free trial i think

It's a pretty simple way for testing some Linux stuff on Windows without installing it seperately. Only issue I ever encountered was that WSL apparently doesn't have audio functionality.
