orwell...? as in george orwell, the antisemitic racist who was a colonial officer in myanmar and wrote anti-communist literature (ex. animal farm, a book whose central thesis is that workers are too stupid to lead society) during the height of ww2 and whose real-life job was the same as the 1984 protag...?

i don't think the guy who reported anyone he thought was a communist or, "looked jewish," to the english government and wrote his less-read document, "the lion and the unicorn," advocating for english socialism with an imperial general council ruling the world and maintaining military occupation in its colonies is perhaps the greatest source...

well color me surprised, i guess my knowledge of the guy stopped at his popular literary work. Animal Farm is a useful work for viewing communism thru an anticommunist lens (wrote an essay abt that years ago) and the band I'm talking about is a direct reference to '84, personal sins aside. more food for thought ig

yea both george orwell and hannah arendt are kinda not great people and have been historically glorified by bourgeois governments. arendt thought asians were, "oriental despots," and worked for a cia-funded writers workshop and is the reason, "authoritarian," and, "totalitarian," and the concept of horseshoe theory are so popular nowadays

Thank you so much for the readz section on your site! I’m currently setting up my modded Nintendo 3ds with an EPUB reader and i immediately knew to check your site for some good books (Fight Club, here I come!!) I will let you know that at least some of the links on that page are unfortunately broken, though—the two that I found were the H.R. Giger’s Necronomicon and The Wound of Christ paper :(
