people hate this one trick: writing something else instead of the logs for your website update that you've finished cosmetically but lack content for. i am not a good writer at the best of times and my written word quality dips significantly more when im distracted doing something else. waiter another 1 year Hiatus stat! (<- joke)

SITE SEARCH: looking for a site on here that did some cool shit where images werent images they were like. directly rendered in browser as pixels or something?? it was 1 colour pictures and it was very cool. fuck it actually i dont even need the site if someone knows what that method is and how to do it please share

definitely sounds like an image to ascii art converter was used, i know @hsquare did this recently

yeah... it's just vaguely annoying me because i cant get ascii to scale properly (it's so screen-dependant, even the slightest ratio change renders it unreadable) and i recall they'd managed it somehow which is why i thought it was a different way. hm. i guess the humble png has never steered me wrong so far
fighting against the badass red and black aesthetic by making everything green and black instead (unfortunately it will never go as hard as red and black but i like it)

the worst thing about writing is that theres no way to really... show a wip. like at least with art i can show a sketch or whatever and you get the idea. i cant be like "here's my unedited slush draft! :D" so yknow. also writing has way less mass appeal nobody wants to read for 10-30 minutes but a picture you can click and go ohh cool. next.
case in point i don't think anyone found let alone read the four publicly available chapters of blaircliff i posted before i remembered how dogshit i am at writing and took them down. give me another few years and maybe theyll show up again but improved, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
