PSA: just because someone's in a no-ai webring doesn't mean they don't use ai. A user on here called hypercrites is one example. If you go to their site and visit their social page hypercrites.de, you find that multiple of their pfps on other platforms are ai-generated.

I did ask them about that on their neocities page and they promptly blocked me. I already mailed the webring master about it. https://yorniq.xyz/site/hypercrites if you want to block
even some people in the no-ai webring have used genAI to make bits of their neocities sites. i blocked someone like that a couple years back. at this stage i think the no-ai webring is more of a follower attractant than a statement of personal principles.
the webring always felt that way to me, it's why i don't like joining huge webrings like that
