Big dawg James Halliday aka substack... we miss you. I hope you haven't left us in this Hell realm, but it would be understandable if you're gone for good. We may have crossed paths in the SF bay area, ages ago. Early npm was still very punk rock in its ethos and your anarchist views and 3D art resonated with me. Rest in power.

hidden mechanic of neocities: "a page's position in the stack cannot be changed" - not true! you can delete the page you want on top, then re-upload it, which will put it on top.

however, it is possible to style XML files using CSS to make them appear like html webpages, and if you upload or change an XML file it will not generate a thumbnail or appear on the feed

i made *substantial* updates, most notably fixed stuttering issues, lots of visual updates including shaders for explosion fx, new weapon (combat shotgun), AI improvements.
