apparently claude.ai has been using catbox as a dumping ground for its code experiments so catbox has basically turned uploading off until they can figure out how to shut that mess down. according to the blog, it's a sisyphean effort, since they block 50 IP addresses and 150 more show up a couple days later. 1 TB+ per week of pure garbage being shat out of the ai generator like so much diarrhoea.
this isn't great considering i have to now host my sims revisited page narration ON NEKOWEB ITSELF. on my stupid small amount of storage, even 3 MB is a luxury. but i have to do narration. some people can't be arsed to read and i'd rather not have them turn to an ai-voiced page reader. solution? 112 kbps MP3 @ 12kHz. i guess we doin e-mu emulator II now.
filegarden has no terms of use so it's a non-starter for my original work. also a text-to-speech engine of any kind would kill the intonation and rhythm. and i was a voiceover artist until genAI stole that from me so narrating my own webpages is a bit of personal vengeance.

you could try and host your files on file garden
Maybe it's possible to integrate a simple TTS program like SAM: https://discordier.github.io/sam/
