I started learning HTML and CSS during the starting days of HTML4 and stopped before HTML5. Which means there's a LOT of new shit I am learning almost every day I work on this site trying to get caught up.
All this to say I just learned about grid-template-areas. What the fuuuuuuuuuuck I've been doing so much shit on hard mode this whole time it's such an elegant solution dammit

I am seriously only 1 page away from being done with the hidden audios, which means I'm 1 page away from getting started on the hints page, which would mean I'd be only 1 page away from being done with the hidden audios once again. But of course this penultimate page is one that I have come to dislike and need to redesign and I keep coming up short on a design I enjoy.

I was crazy confused for a moment thinking what on earth are a Topal, Bumsb or an Nrank (maybe Dutch?) while checking this on mobile. Very much looking forward to the hints

Finally took a look at my site on Chrome and realized most of the volume bars on the hidden audios weren't showing up, so I fixed it. Also, that buttons.html design lasted a whole 3 weeks before I wanted to redo it LOL and there's at least one other page I want to overhaul completely

Hidden audio for these pages as well. By my count, just 4 more and then I get to make a hints page and then jump back into a different project before starting a new one by virtue of "oooh shiny"

imagine your buttons are mouths, and they try to bite the mouse when you want to click? or your title is an eye that closes? it's easy now, the customization menu has a field to set image change on hover :D

Pre-Alpha: build number only, no release number. Beta: 0.XX. Full Release: 1.XX. Updates to Release: 1.+1 per individual change. More decimal places for more extensive or longer builds. FOSS convention is to thousandths place, 0.000. Corporate compliance is usually to hundred-thousandths.

Sometimes it is. Usually it's because they put out a bunch of small updates, each with their own individual build for testing and compliance, do this over the course of weeks or months, THEN they release the update to users. That's why version numbers tend to jump wildly between releases.

There's an interest phenomenon that happens with hyperfixations. For me it usually expresses when I am obsessed with a particular video game. I will be at work and all my mind can focus on is what I will be doing in-game when I get home.
It's that feeling, but with Neocities. 5PM cannot get here any faster.

Changed some out-of-date coding conventions, added some vinyl to the collection, added some more external links, and gave the ability to scroll through pixel art with arrows rather than showing all of them at once. Also, hidden audio.

grid-template are GOATED!!! you can adjust height and width in one line as well -> grid-template: "🐈🐈"500px (height of 🐈row) "🐟🦆"800px (height of 🐟and 🦆row) "🐕 🐕" 200px (height of 🐕 row) /30% 1fr (width of the columns)
who needs grid templates when you can agonizingly align each div by pixels and absolute values? (this is not about me and is purely hypothetical I wouldn't do that I swear)

grid? I just position absolute and go like left: calc(48ch + 88px) and stuff gets aligned perfectly lol
