i can suggest you to send someone a message that you going to blow up a school or something, but it probably will result in something a bit worse than just banning an account (assuming that you live in the US that is)
well messeges were technically 'encrypted' before but i'm pretty sure instagram staff was able to decrypt them and sent to authorities if necessary, and they did it more than multible times. they are now just more transparent about it, that's it.
usually instagram doesn't ban accounts based JUST on what they send in DMs, public outrage / mass reporting is what usually results in banning
