It's a bit disheartening seeing openly AI-generated sites on Neocities get hundreds of followers and tons of guestbook messages while others get little to no attention because they're more amateurish ngl.
I get that the actual content may be interesting, but like... how can you trust someone to be genuine when their graphics and code are all made or at least «enhanced» using AI? For all we know the posts are generated too :(
