In Canada everyone calls you buddy, bud, etc. Sometimes it's friendly and full of endearment, and other times it's full of vitriol. So funny that it's not that way everywhere. But sorry everyone is pushing your buttons!! Maybe you can order a waterproofing wash for your raincoat? Either that or a shell for underneath.
