doing some reading, the main difference between software Stereo Tool and Angry Audio's StereoToolBox (and I assume the STXtreme) is the lack of support for legacy features. I don't use these in my Stereo Tool presets, so they should work fine on hardware Stereo Tool products. update for those presets is incomming, stand by...
