think I might abandon SpaceHey since it seems to be a dead platform. hasn't been updated in over half a year at this point, and uploading icons has been broken for *quite* some time now.

I updated the background tile to a trans themed one and OMG LOOK AT HOW CUTE IT IS!!!! it was meant to be...

I've found some old photos of her, and I'm going to see if I have any more to do a tribute to her. I've known her for as long as I can remember, and given how she's practically an icon of this website and my life, I feel as if it's appropriate.

I have had to do this only a few weeks ago with my 13 year old cat, in a very similar situation, it is very tough and I hate to see someone else go through it but it just struck a chord to see this posted here. I know we don't know each other but I hope you are doing okay.

may go back to self-hosting an RSS feed, especially now that you can access it with clients that don't support TLS. would also like to look into how to style an RSS feed...
the main thing keeping me from posting "the end of a gender crisis" to SpaceHey is not having the icon, I just don't want to maintain a profile on a platform where the icons are busted like that. also sucks because I REALLY want to see my icon on that page
