Um, hi! So weird, but you def know more about this kind of music than me? I love 90s and 2000s Lacuna Coil and Evanescence, is there like something incorporating synthwave elements into that kind of music?

I don't listen to them but from the 2 or 3 songs I have heard I'd say your best bet is the gothic metal genre. It's still metal (sometimes more like hard rock) but will usually have more synth in it. I don't listen to much but two popular bands are Tiamat and Paradise Lost. You might also have luck with some doom metal, but a majority won't hit it so if you want to explore...!
