Dream: I found myself in a maze composed of tall, steel walls on a concrete foundation. A massive, luminous compass was suspended in the air perhaps twenty meters above the maze; its needle's direction consistently corresponded to mine. Upon exiting the maze after an hour, I encountered the ghost of Philip Roth signing autographs for deceased fans....

....and actually parleying with them in that fatuously flatulent phraseology in which he penned his turgid drivel. For obvious reasons, I returned to the maze and discovered within a huge, niched refrigerator.
