for those unaware Legend of the Galactic Heroes is so good that one of my favorite episodes of all anime is a filler episode (episode 40 "Julian's Journey, Mankind's Journey")

re. 5/6 - i read this as the choice between rejecting one's neuroticism (via therapy), or accepting one's neuroticism (by seeing it through to its end?). either way, people have a tendency to overemphasize healthiness, even though a focus on it might not be the best choice for oneself.

ive watched it twice, the ovas, and read the first 2 novels! it's one of my favourite anime, ive spent so much time talking about the politics of that work with a friend. what a good show.
