I want to recommend to you the book "The Gray House", by Mariam Petrosyan. However, I personally read the french translation (The author is armenian, so it was written in russian), which has a title which is directly translated from the original russian one: "La maison dans laquelle". I thereby recommend this version more. It's one of my favorite things. Idk if you take recommendation, but... enjoy?
