Had some funny issues with some opacity animations since I'd accidentally set the maximum value to 100 instead of 1, which rendered weirdly in Firefox but not in Chrome. If you're not seeing the opacity shift on the main page or if you're getting flashbang'd, try clearing your browser's cache.
