Too real 😭 I, too, am leaning into retro gaming. Both because modern hardware is becoming unobtainium, and because there's so much good stuff from past gaming generations that I've never really played

I was fortunate to get a Steam Deck several years ago. I play mostly indie/retro now and I don't know if I'll ever buy a console again. There's SO MUCH out there, inaccessible console stuff is gonna be shrug emoji for me. I think they're gonna wean the upcoming gen of gamers off AAA and honestly? It's fine. Indies are where the industry needs to be imo.

@silliestgoose-online I'm in the same boat. While I was there for the release of a lot of retro games, I was caught up in PC gaming, so many of the awesome games of those days passed me by. There's plenty to enjoy! Have fun!

@shittycasual Steam Deck is awesome, and indie/retro is absolutely the way to go. I'm absolutely all for supporting the little devs, too. That's where the heart of gaming development is now days.
