I added my last few filled Field Notes notebooks for 2025. I already have 5 to add for 2026 but will probably wait until my website redesign to add that page.

Wow, this whole list was so cool to scroll through. I had no idea Field Notes had so many different designs, and it was interesting to see how you used them all too

@ratlands Thanks so much! Field Notes has their standard brown kraft paper books, but they come out with 4 quarterly designs every year, plus a half dozen or so collaborations with other orgs and artists. The variety in the covers is one of the things that motivates me to keep writing!

@hastiesthandiwork I am not kidding or exaggerating when I say that Field Notes enthusiasts call "beating a notebook to shit" a "patina." In fact, "nice patina" is a frequent compliment. So let 'er rip, I guess.

not quite a fieldnoteshead myself (least for now), but i have this cheap generic pocketsize (top)spiralbound notebook - something very nice about carrying somethin like that in yer pocket, and have had one fav music artist sign in it hehe

@sneekrealm Using my phone less was definitely one of my motivations for starting a pocket notebook habit. Once I unlock the phone all bets are off as to whether I'll actually remember why I opened it or just get sucked into whatever's on the screen. Notebooks can't do that.

you seen codepen run. it will get removed(? - dont have PRO, cant private... or i can just leave it just like that, and 1/anonymize, 2/make disclaimer about it being archive) and put it on here - bc. as you seen, i overcharged CSS too much and it made me start almost anew - from saved template and last file b4 i started to get CSS in its own place... so you can watch my progress there, > up to NC next

optimizing order of sprites. almost "lost it", but told myself, - i am the one doing this to myself - why! version like 10, "soon" (idk when i will like it) - so sorry my buttons looks trashy rn. too, they jump around on hover - no idea how to stop it...

this is W.I.P. - will move these into actual web (or maybe i will make single page just for frenz-buttons -? -- i'd see...) - spritesheet need minor edits - will little of work with these, but i want to do it, so i am thrilled to see the actual results - if this was my actual work to do as assignment, i would never and curse like pirate - lol...

i wonder if you can save buttons-sprites in svg and refer from them there. but i guess .gif will have problems. other idea is "simpller" - paste all buttons (-sprites-grid) into GIMP, divide gifs into layers, put each next to each other, ...and export all as .gif - sprite reference... / (felt in love with xml+svg - gonna make btn/icon, and other (plans...) about-with it!)

tried to do same with gifs - but got problem with how they load by layers, and not all at once... need to do maths, or find way, tool how to load them all at once, so i can sprite them-in, too
