i read your tab about death. have you ever read galapagos by kurt vonnegut? the protagonist is not immortal but lives for many thousands of years, and it's a fun read. i don't think they regret their choice to live for an inhuman amount of time.

Cars are a pain and I absolutely hate working on mine just to have the ability to look for work and buy my mom grocereies. I feel for you. In my case, I had to do all the repairs myself because nobody in my family is reliable to help.
