I love how all of these stories end like a punchline in a standup routine. Also my ideal wedding is a courthouse followed by a big-ass table at some equivalent of a Cheesecake Factory where everyone wears casual clothes and brings no gifts. But my fianceé wants to dress up for the day lol

Bro, I was just thinking of the Luck of the Irish yesterday after forgetting about it for the last decade. I was also thinking how I was dissapointed I never ended up seeing Sinners. Now I have to see it. The Luck of the Irish was one of my favorite movies as a kid.

I just read your article on fame and the midwest (the punk scene of N. Dakota), and I loved it. As someone who also livesi n the midwest, it makes me feel impassioned to prove those people wrong. "Take that you nameless person I can't think of. I can be someone too!" Not really, but kinda.

@tab Our ceremony was in a public park, and then we took everyone out to food and drinks at a private space we’d reserved in a local restaurant. We did get a little dressed up, but not a lot dressed up. It was a fun day. :) (I would’ve still just eloped if I’d been allowed to though lol)

My first assumption on cornboy being more expensive is because of that corn kid that was famous for a little while. if he was a little girl maybe it would be different. however, I would not be surprised if I was wrong and it was misogyny.
