I have a friend who had to deal with the same thing - sorry to hear that you have that going on. Sucks! Justified was awesome! Love cover songs! One of my favorites is Cradle of Filth doing Temptation.

Glad you’re doing ok. Hopefully it all resolves without issue and you can get back to life like normal, and even better than before. I have been screwed in the past during procedures as well. Got put under during wisdom teeth removal and woke up in the middle absolutely brutalized as they were digging into my gums. Thanks, doc. Maybe next time listen &believe me when I say that anesthesia doesn’t affect me as much 😑

Interestingly enough I heard from multiple people that doctors told them sinus surgeries are nbd and they end up crying from pain post surgery lmao seems like a common experience. Hope your recovery goes well!

@futureperfect thank you! I'm hoping to get back to normal soon, healing time is taking longer than they said it would. I'm skeptical when it comes to doctors, because they'll tell you you'll feel better at a certain time, like what? I know my body, don't tell me. I've had some painful experiences at the dentist as well, so I'm with you there.

@divergentrays thank you so much =) I'm glad that it wasn't as bad as I had thought it was, that's always a plus. It's been a slow healing process, but hey..just another notch on the experience board right? lol

@cabbagesorter Thank you so much =). I am so so thankful that I didn't need surgery, for one, the cost would be crazy high, and two I've also heard some horror stories of sinus surgeries.

I'm both sorry to hear about what's going on but glad to hear you're getting it fixed! I've had some minor procedures and I totally understand being anxious about undergoing something. You got this! It'll be so great to be done with the sinus issues!

@divergentrays, thank you so much. I've been trying to stay calm, even the nurse practitioner has assured me, that there's nothing to worry about, and that I won't feel a thing, but even so, having never done this type of procedure before, it's only natural to have this kind of anxiety. I'm just hoping this all goes smoothly, and I can resume my daily activities!

I get on you on having a sour taste in your mouth after people leave with no explanation, it always bugs me as well :'). I know that people "don't owe anyone anything" but in a way that kind of dampens the feeling of a community...

On folks leaving without much notice: for me I wouldn't describe the feeling as sour, but I am left with the feeling of wanting to know "what happened?!" This is a thing I feel a lot when seeing abandoned sites of not just friends, but strangers as well. On a more positive note, I wish you and your fam luck with your moving plans!

@cabbagesorter, It does dampen that sense of community! I do understand, that people's live change, and things happen. It is what is I suppose. (I know a lot of people hate that saying)

So I finished putting down the books I want to read in my book reviews section, but it is weirdly distorted. I have no clue what's happening there because the local version of it on my ssd looks COMPLETELY fine, so if anyone is looking at that, I'm sorry. I'll fix it as soon as I can, but it's late as I'm writing this and need to go to bed, so it'll just have to be like that.
