Hello! I'm m0nonoki 😊 — a passionate system programmer and reverse engineer with a deep love for all things low-level and Linux! I proudly go by fae/faer pronouns.

My main focus right now is Sober, a wrapper around Waydroid that I’m building from the ground up to provide a cleaner, more controlled Android-in-Linux experience — without the cruft of mainstream solutions. My development philosophy leans heavily toward simplicity, transparency, and user sovereignty.

I’m a huge fan of Artix Linux and stand firmly against what I see as the bloat and overreach of Red Hat-influenced projects like Flatpak, systemd, Wayland, SELinux, and Fedora. I believe software should be minimal, hackable, and under the user’s control — not dictated by corporate interests or needless abstraction layers.

As a fierce FOSS advocate, I thrive in the vibrant community around the AUR, reverse engineering, and deep systems work. I live for the kind of hacking that uncovers how things work under the hood, bypasses limitations, and restores control to the user. Watching the scene grow — with more and more people learning to reverse, dig into firmware, or write clean, modular code — makes me incredibly happy.

I also appreciate art and the quirkier sides of community expression — yes, that includes feet 😊. It’s all part of a beautifully weird, welcoming, and creative ecosystem that makes our corner of tech so unique.
