It's late. Lightning flashes across the desert sky. He doesn't remember who he is, but he's driving on a lonely stretch of highway. No one is around. A window appears in the middle of the road. He slams on his brakes, steps out of the car, and examines the window. It's about seven feet tall and five feet wide, and through it, he can see the stars. He walks around the back of the window and finds that it's the same on both sides; just a window to a clear, beautiful night, standing where it doesn't belong.
The window is open for him. He wants to go through.
