It has been years since the 3 purifications

The first purification killed half of the world's population. 50% of humanity died by unknown means, it was some kind of stroke that killed on the spot. Rich, poor, young, old. No one was spared.

The result? many turned mundane things such as video games and objects into entire religions, technology advanced and global IQ points skyrocketed. Mankind got smarter, more religious and able to solve insane problems with ease... on top of the dead.

A rise in paranormal activities and events happened. Disappearances, utterly unexplainable events happening with far more frequence and reports mythical creatures appearing.

Governments around the world activated the "DELUGE" initiative: The creation of technologically advanced government institutions and mlitary divisions answering directly to their leaders and the UN.

• America had the Paranormal Incidents Response Unit or "PIRU" and the Department of Strange Appearances
• South america had a multi-national "Comando de Resposta De choque" or called as Shock Response Command and the NORMASUR
• Europe re-activated GIGN and KSK and rebranded them as the "Euro ParaCorps" and the extremely controversial EuroMind
• Other, poorer or uninterested nations had their equivalents being direct UN "Normality keepers" or religious templars.
• Japan had the "Mikos", That name alone ironically turned them the epicenter of paranormal activity.

But the third purification was the worst of everything. It came with no warning, it only came with subversion and corruption. And the price for intelligence.
