Intro

Hi there! I'm Kelsey Skybox (she/her; in my 20s). This is my personal website, hosted on Neocities. My site was down for a while, but is back up as of 29 March 2026. Sorry for the long wait! Please see the Website Changelog, later on in this page, for more information.

I don't have a specific age rating in mind for this website, but I want to keep it teen-friendly, so there won't be anything outright explicit on here. Some of the stories I write will delve into heavy emotional themes, but content warnings will always be provided.

I do not use any type of generative AI for this website, or for anything else.

As for what this place actually is? Well, I'm still trying to figure that out. I currently have brain fog (hence why I dropped off the internet for over a year...) but my recovery is in progress now, thankfully. At the moment, I'm not able to do complex coding, or write my stories as fast as would be ideal, so please be patient with me.

This is the first "real" version of my website. Please consider the previous versions as experimental.

Additions:

  • A new layout, with better navigation, and happier colors. Thanks, PetraPixel! :)
  • A page showing my pets! (I have a cat and two doves.)
  • A page detailing how I handle content warnings and spoilers in my stories.
  • The "site map" (a directory of all pages).
  • A "Credits" section on the main page, for proper attributions.
  • A "back to top" link at the bottom of each page.
  • Download buttons! You can now get free PDFs of my stories!
  • A WIP "license" page, which will (eventually) explain what you can use my stories for.

Changes:

  • Upgraded my site to Neocities Supporter.
  • Updated the "outside links" page to promote Baman Piderman and Flight to Atlantis.
  • Updated the "other places to find me" section; it now includes CurseForge, Modrinth, and TV Tropes.
  • Updated the FAQ, and organized it into sections.
  • Replaced various PNG images with JPG images, to save bandwidth.
  • Updated my fandom list, favorites list, and fandom glossary.
  • Refined the organization of this site. Old links may be broken, despite my efforts. Sorry!
  • Better forms for reviewing and contacting (not currently usable on phones, sorry!)
  • General accessibility improvements and ease-of-use tweaks.
  • Added a (kinda WIP) page for web rings.

Removals:

  • Temporarily removed all Sims 3 pages and pictures; they used too much storage space. They'll be JPG instead of PNG when they come back.
  • Temporarily removed the Rainbow Magic fic. It's almost ready to be posted again; it just needs a bit more editing.
  • Temporarily removed the depressing Super Smash Bros. fanfic. It needs rewriting to be more effective... and more cruel >:)
  • Temporarily removed the Disenchanted fanfic. It also needs rewriting.
So, what's next?

Well, as my brain fog clears up, I'm planning to focus on writing stories, because that's what I've missed the most. However, I still have big plans for my YouTube channel, so don't worry. I've also started making Minecraft data/resource packs, and my Quotev has a Sims 3 quiz on it, so check those out if you're interested.

I don't want to say what unrevealed stories I'm working on, because there's no guarantee I'll actually finish them. My brain shifts its focus A LOT. However, the fandoms I'm especially into right now include Smash, Pokémon, and Zelda, so you can probably expect fanfics of those games, at least.

As for this site itself, the accessibility features still need more work, especially for phones. Fixing that will be one of my top priorities.

The "favicon" (bookmark/tab icon) for this website:

It was originally a photo taken by Norio Nomura, who then posted it to iNaturalist under the "Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International" Creative Commons license. I then downloaded it from Wikimedia Commons, and edited it to make the petals brighter yellow and the background greener. To make it usable as a "favicon", I cropped/resized it down to 48x48 pixels. My edited icon is viewable in 320x320 here.

The layout of this website:

It was generated by PetraPixel's layout maker. (No genAI was used! It's entirely procedural.) Her generator also did the JavaScript header at the top of every page, and added some accessiblity improvements. I've gotta say, I'm quite impressed!

My username in Hytale and Minecraft:

In those two games, my username is "SpaceGlitchGirl". I chose this name for Minecraft after seeing an anonymous user on the Scribblenauts Wiki call himself the "Rope Glitch Guy", back when I was a child. If that person contacts me and asks me to change my username, I will do so.
