do you guys think artistic expression in its purest form is inherently tied to mental illness?

I came to realise that there is no ending, as it is an exploration of my life and its faults. The only way for it to have an end is for me to become faultless, which I am very far from. this was very well written!

i think people treat artists like they're mentally ill
@axayacatl I have had quite negative experiences with sharing my art, especially my poetry, so I do relate to that. But, I've also had people treat me so very nicely when I put myself out there through art, so it's really just about finding people who can appreciate your artwork as it deserves to be appreciated :)
