go fest chicago is actively happening. tokyo already took place. there were supposed to be team takeovers on the social medias (checked nitter)...there has been no dialogue from the team leaders, and all the images of them seem to be copy and pastes of their default 3D models. they are the theme for this event. where are my little guys and why is it not in the 10th anniversary art

Finally got around to looking at the poll results from last month -- the people have spoken; for OC pages with more than one longer-form writing segment besides their bios, separate HTML files are preferred. That's been added to the to-do, but I might not get around to it for a bit. The current modus operandi is getting refs and thumbnails together for Art Fight in July, and preparing materials for a new class.

There will be a Go Fest 2026 Dudesverse story, but I have no ideas. I don't play Pokemon Go anymore; I only check Pokeminers and Nitter for theoretical archives updates, but I'm still pissed -- I was promised my little guys and I'm getting NOTHING.
there has not been any meaningful "lore" or team leader images on the socials since 2022; Dual Destiny was fucking amazing but as of 2025 they have basically...stopped doing special research at all? still fuckin love the dudesverse and my pokemon world AU, and have been friends with these guys for 10 years, but there's a reason I've had less Pokemon Go flavoring as of late
I really want to do a Go Fest story -- it's a tradition, and the big anniversary, and why the Dudesverse exists at all...but I don't have any in-character ideas (Zane's whole inception is kinda a mess and I may just rewrite it, and also he's only RRverse meta-Arlo-wish fulfillment) because 2025 finishes Arlo's personal arc, and the game is giving me nothing.
(Meteor Falls, the RRverse Award Show, and the crossover with Zahori & Verse are still in progress, but have gotten sidelined due to Art Fight and the shock to my morale. /thoughts_archive/personal but tldr I got illegally evicted from the rental I JUST got to at the end of April. dw i have a new place but still reeling)
okay I've got a good idea now. it's gonna have some real self indulgent pokemon anniversary shit and also some parallels to the emotional climax in Go Fest 2025...you'll see. it'll get done UH sometime in August probably because art fight but I'll try to get it out during fest season unlike last year
