So as it turns out, HTML can't read non-roman characters or diacritics, and I have to call them manually with HTML ASCII identifiers. The code looks like absolute spaghetti.

welcome to neocities -w- if you're just learning html i recommend going back and forth between w3 and medium as they both have programming resources the other doesn't. which is kinda infuriating

also self-referential linking so you can navigate the glossary easier and tertiary colouring for understanding major details from a skim

the bizarre thing about looking into the humanity of castro and the snark of lenin and the sarcasm of ho chi minh is it helps me realize i don't have to take everything so formally. i'm human. i can relax a bit and be colloquial, even if the theory i write is much more elaborate

it's very laggy still (this laptop is cobbled together and manually partially upgraded from a poor-quality supposedly all-purpose laptop so that's less on you and more on my hardware) but i have a high enough framerate i can scroll through

The site will be experiencing mild visual changes over the next few days, mainly this change of colour scheme, but additionally fixing some of the special characters I replaced with standard ASCII to their HTML callsigns to render as I initially intended.
1. Should I make a protonmail (significantly more secure than gmail) for the Heoist Philosophy website
2. Should I then, with that protonmail, open a sort of submissions system for communication/questions/public writing?
that sounds cool ngl but i guess it depends on how others feel abt it
to be fair, part of the issue is my current disconnection from my other online presence significantly throttling my philosophy's reach, though ironically some people in my irl union are aware of it - though i do feel communal input is important
