if working with the AI isn't 'creating' then I don't need to strive to be a creator. if creating is about authorship, i don't need to be an author. if creating is about becoming the self and not about making the object, that just seems individualistic to me

fun fact: my national org floated a 'no ai images' resolution last year but ai management of member data on the backend was recently implemented without comment
